On the 27th at 10:52 PM, the maritime police received a report from a passerby who spotted a drowning person near the Fisheries Cooperative Auction Market in Dongmyeong-dong, Mokpo City, and immediately dispatched the Seosan Police Substation rescue team and the West Sea Special Rescue Unit.
The maritime police arrived at the scene within 2 minutes of the report, found Mr. A in the water, and rescued him immediately using a lifebuoy.
Mr. A, who was rescued, had been walking near the auction market when he slipped and fell into the sea. There was no threat to his life, and his health condition was confirmed to be good.
