Gwangju Seo-gu Council Members Encourage Staff Working on COVID-19 Response
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Members of the Seo-gu Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City listened to the difficulties faced by employees working on the front lines of COVID-19 response and encouraged them.
According to Seo-gu Council on the 28th, the council members visited the Public Health Center's screening clinic and the Safety General Division and Disaster Safety Office the day before.
The council members expressed their gratitude to the employees and medical staff who silently do their best at the COVID-19 response sites despite the spread of community infection and the heatwave exceeding 30 degrees Celsius daily.
Chairman Kim Tae-young said, “We appreciate the hard work of the employees and field workers who are doing their utmost to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” and added, “To hasten the end of COVID-19, we ask for continued strict compliance with quarantine guidelines and vaccination, and we council members will also do our best in legislative activities to overcome COVID-19.”
