Shinhan Life announced on the 26th that its "Shinhan Life Amazing Health Insurance," which covers sleep apnea diagnosis and reimburses polysomnography costs, has obtained a 3-month exclusive usage right from the Life Insurance Association's New Product Review Committee.

Unlike existing products that only cover surgery costs for sleep apnea, this product was recognized for its originality and advancement by providing annual coverage for diagnosis and sleep polysomnography costs necessary for continuous disease management. Other life insurance companies cannot launch similar products for three months.
Through the Sleep Apnea Coverage Rider A5 (non-dividend, renewable), coverage is provided for surgery costs related to specific sleep disorders, insured sleep polysomnography costs, and sleep apnea diagnosis benefits.
