Yeongnam Polytechnic College Signs MOU with Global Semiconductor Company for 'Specialized and Meister High School Employment Support'

This agreement was prepared to foster excellent local professionals and promote employment activation through the establishment of an industry-academia cooperation system with 13 Meister high schools and specialized high schools in the Daegu area, including Gyeongbuk Technical High School and Gyeongbuk Girls' Commercial High School.
At the signing ceremony held on the 22nd, Amkor Technology Korea promised to cooperate in industry-academia programs for creating local youth jobs, support recruitment briefings, and give preferential treatment to recommended talents when hiring new personnel. The university decided to operate career guidance and employment special lectures targeting specialized high schools and Meister high schools through a company-customized talent development program.
Lee Jae-yong, president of Yeungnam College of Science and Technology, said, "From fostering excellent local talent to employment, companies, universities, Meister high schools, and specialized high schools have joined forces," adding, "We will spare no support for nurturing local talent and students' career and academic advancement through cooperation among each institution."
