Naver Absorbs Search Technology Subsidiary 'SearchSolution' Through Merger
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver (NAVER) announced on the 21st that it will absorb and merge its search solution and engine development subsidiary, 'Search Solution.'
Naver owns 100% of Search Solution's shares and plans to complete the merger on October 1st through a capital-free method without issuing new shares.
The company explained the purpose of the merger as "improving management efficiency."

Search Solution recorded sales of 3.4 billion KRW and an operating profit of 560 million KRW last year. Kim Kwanghyun, CEO of Naver Search CIC (Company-In-Company), concurrently serves as the CEO of this company.
