The highest daytime temperature in Seoul rose to 36 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest day of the year so far. The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Due to the influence of the North Pacific High, clear weather will continue for the time being, with daytime temperatures rising to around 35 degrees Celsius, resulting in persistent heat. This week, some western inland areas affected by easterly winds may experience daytime highs exceeding 38 degrees Celsius."
