[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] The Financial Services Commission held a regular meeting on the 21st and decided to grant full approval to five companies, including Jeonbuk Bank and Kyobo Life Insurance, following the MyData licensing review.
The FSC determined that five companies?Jeonbuk Bank, Kyobo Life Insurance, NICE Information Service, Korea Credit Bureau, and BankQ?met the licensing requirements under the Credit Information Act. Additionally, preliminary licenses were granted to five companies?Industrial Bank of Korea, Lotte Card, Kyobo Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, and LG CNS?prior to their full license applications.

An FSC official explained, "We will proceed with the review process promptly and sequentially for the applicant companies, and new license applications will continue to be accepted monthly."
