Krafton Recruits Hollywood Producer Adi Shankar... Producing PUBG Animation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Krafton announced on the 21st that it has appointed Hollywood film producer Adi Shankar as the executive creative producer (PD) of the Battlegrounds-based animation project.
New PD Adi Shankar has produced various blockbusters in Hollywood for over 10 years, including the films The Grey, Dredd, and Lone Survivor. He is also the youngest producer to have ranked number one at the North American box office. Recently, he served as the executive producer for the Netflix original animated series Castlevania.
Krafton will collaborate with PD Adi Shankar to produce an animation project that will expand its game Battlegrounds universe, the PUBG Universe.
