326 New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul as of 6 PM on the 19th
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] From midnight to 6 p.m. on the 19th, the number of new COVID-19 confirmed cases in Seoul was tentatively counted at 326, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced. This is 46 fewer than the previous day (372) during the same time frame.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul has surged above 500 since the 6th of this month, recording 583→550→503→509→509→403→417→638→519→570→562→523 until the 17th. The decrease in confirmed cases compared to the same time the previous day is analyzed to be due to a sharp drop in the number of tests conducted over the weekend compared to weekdays.

Additional confirmed cases from cluster infections include 7 from a sauna in Gwanak-gu, 7 from the Kwangwoon University and Yonsei University ice hockey teams, 6 from a religious facility in Dongjak-gu, 2 from workplaces in Gangseo-gu, and 13 from other cluster infections.
