[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the morning of the 19th, Jinju City in Gyeongnam and the Korea Elevator Safety Agency (KoELSA) signed a 'Green Agreement' at the Korea Elevator Safety Agency to create a pleasant environment in urban parks and street trees within Jinju City.
The agreement is a project promoted by Jinju City and 11 public institutions in the Innovation City since January 2019 to improve the environment of the Innovation City. Although there had been no significant results so far, this day marked the first agreement signed with the Korea Elevator Safety Agency.
Through this agreement, the Korea Elevator Safety Agency will form a 'KoELSA Environmental Guardians Volunteer Group' consisting of 45 executives and employees to regularly conduct environmental cleanup activities and byproduct disposal in cooperation with towns and neighborhoods once a month.
