SNS Sharing Special Discount 'Sharing Time' Surpasses 1 Million Shares in 6 Months
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON announced on the 19th that its SNS sharing special promotion 'Gongyutime,' launched last January, has recorded 1 million shares within 6 months.
TMON Gongyutime is a new type of promotion where customers must share products with acquaintances on SNS to purchase those products at special prices. It is similar in nature to group buying, where a certain number of customers gather to lower prices, but differs in that customers can easily purchase special-priced products with just one share.
According to TMON, from January to June, Gongyutime featured about 900 products, which were shared a total of 1 million times. The most shared product was shared more than 15,000 times. The purchase conversion rate from sharing on SNS to actual purchase was also high at 64%. This means that out of 100 people who shared, 64 proceeded to purchase.
