AfricaTV Secures Tokyo Olympic Broadcast Rights... Live Coverage of All Events
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] AfreecaTV has secured the domestic online broadcasting rights for the Tokyo Olympics. This marks the third consecutive time, following 2012 and 2016.
AfreecaTV announced on the 18th that it will live broadcast all events of the '2020 Tokyo Olympics' and every match featuring the South Korean national team from the 23rd of this month until the 8th of next month.
Additionally, replay, highlights, and VOD services will also be provided.
Live broadcasts by AfreecaTV's biased commentary BJs will also be available. Various broadcasts by star BJs active on AfreecaTV, such as soccer commentators Park Moon-sung and Lee Joo-heon, are anticipated.
Along with this, events for viewers will be held, including official broadcast viewing certification events, predicting the final ranking of the South Korean national team in the Olympics, guessing the total number of gold medals won, and predicting the outcomes of ball games (soccer, baseball, volleyball, handball).
