View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] BYN Black Yak announced on the 18th that it has signed a multilateral business agreement with TK Chemical and Sansu Beverage to establish a high value-added resource circulation system for transparent PET bottles in Korea.
This business agreement was made to build a sustainable resource circulation society that recycles transparent PET bottles domestically and to protect the environment. Sansu Beverage secures its own transparent PET bottles, TK Chemical produces K-rPET (K-Recycled PET) recycled fibers from these bottles, and Black Yak plans to expand and apply its eco-friendly material "Plustic," which combines outdoor technology with these recycled fibers, to its products.
Sansu Beverage operates a collection program linked with customers to supply high-quality PET bottles suitable for recycling. Through this agreement, Black Yak and TK Chemical have committed to further activating the resource circulation system using Sansu Beverage's high-quality PET bottles.
Kim Jeong-hoe, Executive Director of Black Yak, said, "Black Yak and TK Chemical have joined hands to ensure that Sansu Beverage's eco-certified transparent PET bottles can be reborn as eco-friendly recycled products. We expect that through cooperation with each company playing an important role in the PET bottle resource circulation cycle, we can further strengthen the establishment of a sustainable resource ecosystem that considers both the environment and business."
