Geoncheon-eup Bathhouse, 2 Confirmed Cases on the 17th Following 1 Case the Previous Day
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] COVID-19 confirmed cases occurred for two consecutive days at a public bathhouse in Gyeongju city, and an epidemiological investigation is underway for users of the bathhouse.
According to Gyeongju city on the 17th, two men who used a public bathhouse located on Geoncheon 2-gil, Geoncheon-eup, tested positive. Two others also tested positive on the same day and were classified as cases 475 and 476.
The men confirmed positive at the bathhouse were found to have come into contact with Gyeongju case number 472, who tested positive after using the bathhouse the previous day. The quarantine authorities are encouraging citizens who used the bathhouse between the 1st and 16th to get tested regardless of symptoms.
