"Thank You, Genesis" Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Hyundai Motor Company Educational Training Vehicle Donation Ceremony
Hyundai Motor Company donated two educational training vehicles to Dong-Eui Science University on the 16th.

On the morning of the 16th, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held a 'Donation Ceremony for Educational Practice Vehicles' supported by Hyundai Motor Company at the university's main building.
About 10 officials from both organizations attended the event, including Kim Young-do, president of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, Baek Seung-eon, head of Hyundai Motor's Busan Regional Headquarters, and Choi Heon-ju, head of the Busan Service Center.
The vehicles donated by Hyundai Motor are two Genesis models, the G70 and G80, which will be used as practical training equipment for the automotive department. They will greatly assist in acquiring the latest maintenance technologies and be used to train vehicle maintenance technicians.
Last year, Hyundai Motor also donated two vehicles, the Accent 1.6 GDI and Aslan 3.3 GDI, to the automotive department of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology for student education.
Since signing an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Hyundai and Kia Motors in 2001, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has annually supported practice vehicles and teaching materials. They are promoting various educational collaborations, including operating customized curricula to meet social demands and entrusted job training for Hyundai and Kia Motors.
Additionally, with the recent selection of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology's automotive department for the 'Future Vehicle On-site Workforce Training Project' promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, they plan to join efforts in training on-site workforce for future vehicles such as electric cars.
Head Baek Seung-eon said, “We hope this will greatly contribute to the development of the school and the training of automotive technicians, and we will continue various collaborations and exchanges with the university in the future.”
