On the 16th, at Lakewood Golf Course in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province (par 72, 6,539 yards), during the second day of the KLPGA Tour Evo Collagen Queens Crown (total prize money 800 million won), she shot 5 under par over 17 holes to rise to the lead (10 under par). Lee Seung-yeon (23, SK Networks), Kim Hee-ji (20), Kim Woo-jung (23, both BC Card), and Park Ji-young (25, Korea Land & Trust) are tied for second place (9 under par). Due to severe weather followed by sunset, 43 players have not completed the second round.
Hyun Se-rin started from a tie for 5th place, 2 strokes behind, and collected 6 birdies (1 bogey). Although she started shakily with a bogey on the 11th hole (par 5), she reduced one stroke in the front nine with consecutive birdies on the 16th and 17th holes.
