Gwangju Shinsegae Hosts 'Sweet Sleep Fair' for Sleepless Tropical Nights

The Sweet Sleep Fair, held at the main building's 1st-floor event hall from the 16th to the 22nd, is an event proposing living products that help with deep sleep during these hot days when people have trouble sleeping. Bedding to smart home appliances can be found all in one place. In particular, local hometown companies Carrier Aircon and DK Co., Ltd. will be featured.

Carrier Aircon is a hometown company representing the region, established 36 years ago this year. Headquartered in the Hanam Industrial Complex in Gwangju, it is a specialized heating and cooling company with a wide product lineup ranging from home air conditioners to commercial and industrial products.

Recently, it has expanded its business areas to include products such as air purifiers, dehumidifiers, wine cellars, and food waste disposers, growing into a comprehensive home appliance company. This year, it was selected as a premium small and medium enterprise by Gwangju Metropolitan City, and is promoting job creation, development of flagship products through collaboration with research institutes, and factory revitalization.

DK Co., Ltd. is a hometown company established 28 years ago this year, located in the Pyeongdong Industrial Complex in Gwangju. Based on the technology and know-how accumulated by supplying molds and parts to large corporations, it is advancing as a manufacturer of air home appliances.

DK Co., Ltd. offers air purifiers equipped with multi-filters that can remove large dust particles to fine dust, with various functions such as odor removal and sterilization to create a comfortable indoor environment, all at reasonable prices.

During the event period, local hometown companies will be promoted with dramatic discounts.

Carrier Aircon will sell the All-New Aero 18-step air conditioner premium model (16-pyeong type/CPVM-AP161AP) at a 46% discounted price of 2.1 million KRW, the wall-mounted inverter air conditioner (6-pyeong type/CSV-A061LV) at a 26% discounted price of 509,000 KRW, and the Carrier wine cellar (CSR-28WR) at a 39% discounted price of 189,000 KRW.

DK Co., Ltd. will sell the Mini Air Purifier (DAP-0403PB) at 88,000 KRW, a 7% discount from the lowest internet price, the 934 Air Purifier (DAP-934BAWG) at 220,000 KRW, a 15% discount from the lowest internet price, and the S9 Air Purifier (DAP-2216NAWH) at 130,000 KRW, a 9% discount from the lowest internet price.

Additionally, brands of sleep products that help comfortable sleep but are not yet stocked will be introduced.

First, the functional pillow "Ganuda," which applies manual therapy techniques to correct physical problems caused by bad habits and posture and help achieve proper sleep; "Freshfind," which proposes bedding made from natural materials such as linen and rayon to provide a luxurious hotel bedding feel; and "Crispy Baba," a premium wool lifestyle brand that uses only natural materials such as cotton and animal hair without microfiber polyester fibers, will be showcased.

Also, a space experience zone where visitors can directly experience premium products from Casamia and Simmons has been prepared. It is designed to provide a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
