Bodyfriend Registers Patent for Safety Technology of Massage Chairs During Power Outages
Applied to The Phantom and The Pharaoh
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Bodyfriend (CEO Park Sang-hyun) announced on the 14th that it has registered a patent for massage device technology that can reset its position in the event of a power outage.
Bodyfriend explained that the core of this patent is that even if the power is cut off, the massage device can return to its initial state using stored electrical energy. The principle is to reset the device to its original state by utilizing the electrical energy stored in the device's energy storage unit.
This patent technology addresses the possibility of danger to the device caused by sudden power outages or disconnections while the user is receiving a massage. It ensures user safety even when the power is in an abnormal state.
Bodyfriend applied this patented technology to 'The Phantom' and 'The Pharaoh.' If the power supply is interrupted and the device stops while the massage chair is operating, the user can press the power outage protection button installed on the device to return it to its initial state.
