SG Subsidiary SG E Construction Industry Signs 9.9 Billion KRW Pavement Construction Contract
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] SG Corporation (hereinafter SG), an asphalt and ready-mixed concrete manufacturing company, announced on the 14th that its subsidiary, SG Construction Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter SG Construction Industry), has signed a paving contract worth approximately 9.9 billion KRW.
SG Construction Industry has signed contracts for a total of three paving projects: ▲ Improvement of the IC connection system at the southern end of Cheonho Bridge ▲ Construction of apartment buildings in Gimpo Hangang New Town ▲ Remodeling of the Ansan Rest Area on the Yeongdong Line.
The improvement project of the IC connection system at the southern end of Cheonho Bridge involves upgrading the interchange near the southern end of Cheonho Bridge in Songpa-gu, Seoul, with a contract amount of approximately 7 billion KRW. The construction of apartment buildings in Gimpo Hangang New Town is an ancillary civil engineering project within the complex development at 1894-9 Janggi-dong, Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, with a contract amount of about 1.9 billion KRW.
Additionally, the remodeling project for the entrance road and site development of the Ansan Rest Area on the Yeongdong Line involves paving the entrance road in the area of 19 Neobiul-gil, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, with a contract amount of approximately 1 billion KRW.
A representative of SG Construction Industry stated, “This year’s business plan has already been exceeded in the first half,” and added, “Building on the first half’s success, we plan to continuously sign large-scale contracts in the second half as well.”
