Hankook Tire Halts Factory Production for 3 Days... "Lack of Ships for Export"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Hankook Tire & Technology announced on the 13th that it will halt production at its Daejeon and Geumsan plants for three days from the 16th to the 18th to adjust output due to a shortage of shipping capacity (ship loading capacity).
Hankook Tire explained the reason for the production stoppage as "the global cargo volume has increased significantly, making it difficult to secure ships needed to export products to the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia."
