Commissioner Kim stated, "Following the 'Dong-gu Building Collapse Accident,' the safety demands and expectations for the police from Gwangju citizens have increased more than ever," adding, "Becoming a warm police force with sincerity and a sense of responsibility is the starting point for gaining trust."
He continued, "Heads of various offices and departments must make judgments and decisions with conviction and responsibility, and frontline police officers must possess the fundamental capability to clearly resolve issues on the ground as 'prepared public safety experts,' which is of utmost importance."

Additionally, we must strictly punish crimes that infringe on the livelihood of citizens, such as phone financial fraud and cyber gambling, which further plunge ordinary people's lives into hardship, thereby protecting the peaceful daily lives of citizens."
