Andong-si Opens Riverside Citizen Park 'Children's Water Play' Free of Charge
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Andong City, Gyeongbuk, announced on the 13th that it will operate the Riverside Citizens' Park Children's Water Playground for free from the 23rd to August 22nd in celebration of the summer season.
The Riverside Citizens' Park Children's Water Playground, located on the Nakdong Riverbank in front of Seonghee Girls' High School, has been operated every summer for children in elementary school and younger, receiving great love from visitors.
Andong City plans to lease and operate an air bounce and a modular swimming pool (area=150㎡, height=1m) in addition to the existing swimming pool (area=208㎡, height=50cm) so that visitors can enjoy various water activities.
Additionally, from August 3rd to 8th, through the 'Andong Summer Festival,' various performances and experience programs will be provided to visitors of the water playground.
The playground will operate in two shifts daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed every Monday and during rainy weather, and will be operated by reservation to prevent COVID-19.
