Nexon Partners with Wonder Holdings for New Game Joint Venture
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Nexon announced on the 13th that it has signed a joint business contract with Wonder Holdings for a new game.
Under this contract, Wonder Holdings plans to focus on development and service, including new game development and operation, business model (BM), its own service platform, and infrastructure construction.
Nexon will support the development, technical consulting, customer service, marketing promotion, business partnerships, and PC room services of the new game developed by Wonder Holdings' development subsidiary based on its accumulated service capabilities.
Wonder Holdings' development subsidiary, 'Wonder People,' is developing the global game service platform 'GeeGee' and the PC game 'Super People.'
Through this contract, the two companies plan to concentrate their capabilities for successful game service based on Nexon's accumulated service know-how and Wonder Holdings' development power.

Nexon formed a strategic partnership with Wonder Holdings in 2019 and established joint ventures Devcat and Nitrostudio last year with a 50:50 equity ratio. Heo Min, CEO of Wonder Holdings, is a former founder of Neople, which developed Nexon's flagship game 'Dungeon & Fighter.'
