"Owns Two Apartments..." Male Born Solo Who Went on 300 Blind Dates
[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] A man in his 40s who said he had been on over 300 blind dates but failed every time visited 'Ask Anything'.
On the 12th episode of KBS Joy's entertainment program 'Ask Anything', a 45-year-old client working as an engineer at an LED lighting company shared his concerns.
That day, the client said, "I use public transportation for commuting, but whenever women see me, they always avoid me." He added, "Even on a 10,000 won bus, the seat next to me is always empty. I came here hoping someone could look at me objectively."
Upon hearing this, Seo Jang-hoon cautiously asked, "Your facial expression doesn't look that scary. Is there maybe some kind of smell?" Lee Soo-geun smelled the client and said, "No, it smells good."
In particular, the client confessed, "I have no dating experience." Seo Jang-hoon responded, "Because you've never met a woman, you subconsciously developed a complex," and advised, "You absolutely need to date."
The client said, "I've been on many blind dates, but I was rejected because I have thin hair." He explained, "Since I graduated from an engineering school, I was busy studying and couldn't meet the opposite sex, and after graduation, I got a job and had no time to date."
The production team revealed that the client had been on over 300 blind dates. He lamented, "From age 31 to 43, I went on blind dates every weekend, but I never received a single message." Hearing this, Lee Soo-geun expressed his astonishment, saying, "Are you trying to set a Guinness World Record?" The client expressed his frustration, saying, "I tried hard to find a connection."
The client also described his daily routine: "I wake up at 4:30 a.m. My home is in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, and it takes three hours to get to my company in Suwon." He added, "I use public transportation because of trauma from a traffic accident."
Seo Jang-hoon asked, "Wouldn't it be better to find a place to live near your company?" The client replied, "I do have a house in Anyang." Then Lee Soo-geun and Seo Jang-hoon were surprised and asked, "You have two apartments?" The client answered, "The maintenance fees in Anyang are high, so I live in Incheon."
