Support for Job Training Expenses for Platform Workers Such as Taxi Drivers and Care Teachers

The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 11th that it will launch a pilot project for 'specialized vocational training for platform workers.'
The project allows platform workers to receive customized training through the government's vocational training program, the 'National Tomorrow Learning Card.' Approximately 7 billion KRW will be invested. This is the first project aimed at improving the job skills of platform workers, who have been in the blind spots of vocational training.
Specifically, six training institutions will offer 10 courses, including 'Premium Service Capability Enhancement for Platform Taxi Drivers,' 'Introduction to Care Teachers,' and 'Introduction to Data Labeling.'

Full training fees will be supported for participants. The Ministry of Labor expects 94,020 people to participate in this project by the end of this year.
