Gyeongsangnam-do Councilor Won Seong-il Receives 'Outstanding Legislative Award' from Association of City and Provincial Council Chairs
Won Seong-il, a member of the Gyeongnam Provincial Assembly, who received the 10th Excellent Legislative Award hosted by the National Association of City and Provincial Councils on the 30th anniversary of the revival of local councils.

Councilor Won has actively engaged in legislative and council activities related to student autonomy and participation activation. He made efforts to improve student welfare, including passing the "Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education Eco-friendly School Playground Creation and Management Ordinance" he proposed at the regular session plenary meeting.
He also devoted himself to regional development, urging the construction of a sports theme park centered around the Gyeongnam FC stadium. Serving as a member of the Provincial Council's Education Committee, he contributed to enhancing the value of student human rights.
Councilor Won was honored with the Excellent Legislative Award in recognition of his contributions to improving the quality of life for Gyeongnam residents and the development of education in Gyeongsangnam-do.
Councilor Won said, "I consider it a great honor to receive this meaningful and undeserved award," adding, "I will serve the people with a humbler attitude."
