[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 9th that Seo Inam, former Director of the Job Economy Division of Jeollanam-do, was inaugurated as the 25th Deputy Governor on the 2nd.

Considering the COVID-19 situation, Deputy Governor Seo held no separate inauguration ceremony but personally visited each office, department, town, township, and business site to communicate with the staff.

At the meeting with the staff, Deputy Governor Seo expressed his inauguration aspirations, saying, “Based on my 37 years of administrative experience, I will work hard with the determination to serve as a foundation for creating quality jobs and building a Muan that young people return to by making good use of various regional development opportunities such as the establishment of the aviation specialized industrial complex, the KTX stop at Muan International Airport, and the settlement of the Oryong district.”

He added, “I ask everyone to pool wisdom and capabilities to wisely overcome crisis situations such as COVID-19 and the regional economic downturn.”

Deputy Governor Seo Inam is from Hwasun, Jeollanam-do. He graduated from Hwasun High School and the Department of Public Administration at Gwangju University. He began his public service career in 1984 as a Grade 9 public official in Hwasun-gun and has held key positions including Head of the Jeollanam-do Economic General Team, Director of the Sports Industry Division, and Director of the Job Economy Division.

Deputy Governor Seo said, “It is a great honor to work in Muan, which is the center of Jeollanam-do and is vigorously advancing as the central city of the West Coast in the Northeast Asia era. I will actively assist Governor Kim San and faithfully perform the role of a bridge communicating with 90,000 residents to accelerate regional development by making every effort.”
