View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The Ottogi Ham Tae-ho Foundation held the 23rd Ottogi Ham Tae-ho Academic Award ceremony on the 8th at the Daejeon Convention Center.
This year's Ottogi Ham Tae-ho Academic Award was presented to Professor Lee Jae-hwan of the Department of Food and Biotechnology at Sungkyunkwan University in recognition of his contributions to cost reduction and the production of high-quality fried products in the food industry.
Professor Lee Jae-hwan has conducted consistent research in food chemistry, especially in the field of lipids, for over 20 years. He has published more than 170 academic journal papers and filed six patents, with two patents currently registered securing property rights. He has made significant achievements in both domestic and international academic and industrial research fields, while also dedicating efforts to nurturing professionals in the food sector.
