[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Mayfield Hotel Seoul announced on the 9th that it will launch the seasoned large ribs from the Korean restaurant 'Nakwon,' famous as one of the 'Top 3 Galbi Houses in Seoul,' as a home meal replacement (HMR) through Market Kurly.
The seasoned large ribs, prepared for customers who want to enjoy hotel restaurant menus at home, are the second home meal replacement product following sogalbijjim. The hotel stated that it is prepared with ingredients and recipes that faithfully replicate the hotel taste, allowing the sincerity of the preparer to be felt on special occasions such as home parties, housewarmings, and birthdays.
The ribs were carefully selected for their tender meat and the largest amount of meat on the large ribs, with the membrane removed and 100% rib meat used to enhance quality. The special marinade sauce, created by a chef with 38 years of experience, uses over 10 types of ingredients including fresh fruits and vegetables to bring out the natural healthy flavors of the ingredients. Nakwon’s low-temperature aging also preserves the tender texture of the meat. The price is 45,000 KRW for 500g.
In celebration of the upcoming Chobok, the nutritious family dish 'Sogalbijjim' includes medicinal herbs such as licorice and angelica to enhance its subtle flavor. Toppings like ginkgo nuts and shiitake mushrooms are also carefully selected by Nakwon’s chef. The price is 31,000 KRW for 700g.
