Gwangjin-gu Issues Administrative Order Prohibiting Drinking in All Parks and Rest Areas
From 10 PM on the 7th, Administrative Order Prohibits Drinking in Parks and Rest Areas... 100,000 Won Fine for Violations
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seongap) implemented an administrative order banning drinking in parks and rest areas within Gwangjin-gu from 10 PM on the 7th.
The order applies to 69 locations including parks and rest areas within Gwangjin-gu, prohibiting drinking from 10 PM to 5 AM the following day. This administrative order will remain in effect until separate cancellation guidelines are issued.
Violations will incur a fine of 100,000 KRW in accordance with Article 83, Paragraph 4 of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act.
The district plans to claim quarantine costs if confirmed cases occur due to violations of the administrative order.

The district will notify park and rest area users of the administrative order by posting banners in parks and actively promoting it through the official website, blog, and other channels.
