Vespa Launches Pre-Registration for 'Time Defenders' in Japan... "Featuring a Star-Studded Voice Cast"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Vespa announced on the 8th that its new title, 'Time Defenders,' has revealed information about key characters along with pre-registration ahead of its local service launch in Japan.
The pre-registration for 'Time Defenders,' conducted through the pre-registration site, major app markets, and the official Twitter, is designed as an interactive event allowing users to participate ahead of the game's official release.
First, an event is underway where players can vote for their favorite hero among various hero illustrations appearing in 'Time Defenders.' The hero with the highest number of votes will be offered as a pre-registration reward. Depending on the number of pre-registrations, generous benefits such as up to 2,000 diamonds, 10 hero acquisition tickets, and a start dash package will be provided.
On the official Twitter, hero characters appearing in 'Time Defenders' are being revealed sequentially. Various events are also taking place, including immediate distribution of Amazon gift codes to about 100 people who follow and retweet.
The first characters to have their information revealed among the heroes of 'Time Defenders' are the game's main characters, 'Jin' and 'Brigantia.' 'Jin' lost his parents in a space-time rift during childhood and lives alone with his younger sister. With excellent knowledge and skills in machinery, he investigates space-time rifts using a drone named Nez that he built himself, eventually encountering the Time Defenders.
The voice acting that brings the characters to life features the famous Japanese voice actor Matsuoka Yoshitsugu, known in Korea for roles such as Inosuke in 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train' and Kirito, the protagonist of 'Sword Art Online.'
Additionally, 'Brigantia,' a founding member of the Time Defenders and head of security and frontline positions, is a character admired for strong justice and willingness to step forward for others. The voice is provided by Tojo Hisako, who played Betty in the 'Langrisser' series.
Moreover, a large number of renowned voice actors, including Ishida Akira, famous for the role of Kaoru in 'Neon Genesis Evangelion,' have participated, raising expectations for the game.
A representative of 'Time Defenders' stated, "Based on the diverse feedback gathered during the CBT held last June, we have been diligently refining the game. With the official service just around the corner, we feel nervous and excited, but we will do our best until the release to further enhance the 'fun of battle' that many users have eagerly awaited." They added, "We promise to continue communicating closely with users and to create Time Defenders together."
