As of the 5th, approximately 9.77 million KRW worth of 977 items including fans, air conditioners, and summer blankets have been distributed. Even after the intensive support period ends, the district plans to continue providing assistance as needed until September to prevent heatwave-related damages.
Since 2017, the district has supported about 9,900 households over the past four years with cooling supplies worth a total of 290 million KRW, including fans, summer blankets, portable air conditioners, and cooling sleeves. This year, by securing private funding from organizations such as the Small Love Sharing Movement Headquarters, the support for cooling supplies has been significantly expanded compared to previous years.
