Discussion on Cooperation for Major Issues Including the Establishment of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Megacity
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] On the 5th, the Democratic Party floor leader group of the Gyeongnam Provincial Council held a policy meeting with the Democratic Party floor leader group of the Busan Metropolitan Council at the Gyeongnam Provincial Council.
At this policy meeting, the Gyeongnam Provincial Council was attended by Democratic Party Representative Bin Jitae, along with Vice Representatives Seong Yeonseok and Seong Dungeun, Policy Chairman Kim Seonggap, and Spokesperson Kim Gyeongyeong.
From the Busan Metropolitan Council, six Democratic Party representatives including Representative Jo Cheolho and Vice Representative Park Minseong attended the policy meeting to discuss current issues between Gyeongnam and Busan, including the establishment of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) Mega City.
Jo Cheolho, Representative of the Busan Metropolitan Council, stated, "To build and form consensus on the Southeast region mega city, both councils must communicate and cooperate together," and proposed regular mutual exchanges between the Democratic Party floor leader groups.
