On the 5th, Son Hyun posted an article titled "The Truth I Don't Want to Believe" on his blog, saying, "Today I analyzed the entire 'Geu-al' episode," and began, "I found some strange parts and when I dug deeper, there were parts I couldn't understand."
Son claimed that the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and the timing shown in the 'Geu-al' broadcast were inaccurate. He explained, "The family of friend A, who was with Jeong-min at the time of his disappearance, walked around the park once and called us saying 'We need to look for Jeong-min,' and my wife received the call at 5:28 a.m."
He added, "However, the broadcast stated the scene after 5:38 a.m., which is more than 10 minutes later, as if it were 5:28 a.m.," and said, "When you find a scene with a similar angle in the actual on-site CCTV footage, it is almost 5:39 a.m." He further explained, "The broadcast describes that at 5:12 a.m., the family of A climbed over the fence and searched for about 10 minutes around the lawn, near the convenience store, and around the rabbit burrow before calling my wife."
He said, "However, during those 10 minutes mentioned here, the person who called my wife was inside a car in the parking lot and did not come near the area. The father and son A were only looking at the riverside and riverbank," and questioned, "Why did they deliberately use scenes that do not match the call time twice, making it seem like they searched everywhere and then called?"
Son also expressed doubts, saying, "The subtitles of the scenes used by the broadcaster show the original camera time, but if that is wrong, there is an 11-minute discrepancy," and "If not, it means the broadcaster deliberately manipulated the subtitles and then deleted them in the replay because it became an issue. I wonder if that was necessary and what they were thinking."
On the early morning of the 5th, Son posted on his blog raising suspicions about part of the content aired on SBS's "Unanswered Questions." Photo by Son Hyun, captured from his blog.

He claimed that day, "There are 19 complaints to make against 'Geu-al,'" and said, "At that time, the peak viewership rating momentarily reached 11%, and I think I contributed the most but was completely exploited."
