Sewon ENC Signs 9.3 Billion KRW Contract to Supply Chemical Plant Equipment with DL E&C Subsidiary
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Seowon ENC announced on the 5th that it has signed a contract worth 9.3 billion KRW (6.95 million euros) to supply chemical plant equipment with DAELIM RUSSIA LLC, a local subsidiary of DL E&C in Russia.
Under this contract, Seowon ENC will manufacture and supply key equipment such as Reactors, Columns (tower-type petrochemical process equipment), and Vessels for the Moscow refinery modernization project, which DL E&C secured this year from the Russian oil company Gazprom Neft. The contract period is until June 30, 2022.
The Moscow refinery modernization project involves constructing a hydrocracking plant at the Moscow refinery located in the southeast of Moscow, Russia.
Hamanbong, Head of the Chemical Business Division at Seowon ENC, stated, “The strong trust from our client in Seowon ENC’s technological capabilities, quality competitiveness, and project execution ability has led to this order. Through successful project execution, we will further strengthen our cooperative foundation with our client, who is accelerating the development of new overseas markets, thereby laying the groundwork to continuously expand opportunities for project participation.”
He added, “We will strategically respond to numerous major project bids, including the LNG project currently underway and projects postponed due to COVID-19, focusing our capabilities on expanding high-quality new orders.”

Seowon ENC plans to fully concentrate on increasing orders, supported by the normalization trend in the ordering market, such as the resumption of large-scale projects following the expansion of COVID-19 vaccine distribution, global economic recovery, favorable petrochemical market conditions, and the rebound of international oil prices.
