Brother Assaults Younger Sister's Head Repeatedly with Cell Phone During Argument
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 50s who struck his younger sister's head dozens of times with a cellphone during an argument was arrested by the police.
The Gwanak Police Station in Seoul announced on the 4th that they have arrested and are investigating a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of hitting his younger sister's head multiple times with a cellphone and other objects around 5 p.m. the previous day at their home in Gwanak-gu during an argument.
Police investigations revealed that the two had been arguing over financial issues.
The victim was bleeding heavily from the head and was taken to the hospital, but fortunately, her life is not in danger.
