"Subscription Service Launch: KT Season + 4 Cups of Hollys Coffee for 9,900 KRW/Month"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] KT is launching a partnership subscription service that bundles the online video service (OTT) Seezn and franchise cafe vouchers for 9,900 KRW per month.
On the 4th, KT announced the launch of the ‘SeeznXHollys Subscription’ service through a partnership with the coffee brand Hollys, which has over 580 stores nationwide. For a monthly fee of 9,900 KRW, customers can use KT’s OTT service Seezn and enjoy 4 cups of coffee from Hollys each month. This price offers up to a 55% discount compared to the regular price.
The SeeznXHollys subscription service consists of Seezn’s Plain product (5,500 KRW), which offers over 200 live channels and about 80,000 VOD titles, and 4 regular-sized Hollys Cafe Americano coffees worth approximately 16,400 KRW. While existing subscription services have typically offered simple discounts on single products or services, KT explained that this new SeeznXHollys subscription service satisfies both the growing demand for video streaming and coffee, especially among the MZ generation.
Subscriptions can be purchased through the KT Membership app or KT stores. The Seezn service can be used immediately from the day of subscription, and Hollys coffee can be redeemed starting the next day by receiving a coupon via the KT Membership app and visiting a Hollys store. After the subscription month, coffee coupons for the current month are updated on the 2nd of each month. Customers can also change their coffee menu to other beverages by paying an additional fee. Detailed information such as the validity period of the coffee coupons can be checked through the KT Membership app.
To commemorate the launch of this subscription service, KT will offer special benefits worth 9,000 KRW to new subscribers throughout July. Customers who subscribe to the SeeznXHollys service for the first time and maintain their subscription until the end of July will receive one Hollys Cafe Americano coupon and a 5,000 KRW Coco voucher that can be used to purchase content on Seezn.
