Ensuring a Healthy Work Life: Disease and Industrial Accident Prevention for 65 Active Workers
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam conducted special health examinations on July 2 for on-site workers to detect health impairments or diseases that may arise early from various harmful factors in the workplace.
Special health examinations are health checkups conducted for workers exposed to 18 types of harmful factors (such as dust, noise, night work, etc.) as defined by the Industrial Safety and Health Act.
Accordingly, on the morning of that day, the county conducted special health examinations for 65 on-site workers through a mobile bus examination from Jinju Jeil Hospital at Goun Gymnasium.
Through the examinations, it is expected to detect occupational diseases early, prevent industrial accidents, and ensure that workers can work in a more comfortable environment and maintain a healthy working life.
