[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Son Seon-hee] The Lottery Commission of the Ministry of Economy and Finance announced on the 2nd that it held the 14th Happy Sympathy Volunteer Group inauguration ceremony and the 1st volunteer activity at Seondeokwon, a child welfare facility located in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
About 30 people attended the event, including Ando-geol, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and chairman of the Lottery Commission, Kim So-yeon, actress and head of the Happy Sympathy Volunteer Group, and volunteer members. The volunteer group carried out activities such as cleaning toys and shaking out blankets, as well as cleaning the children's living spaces and the independence experience center for children scheduled to leave care.
At the inauguration ceremony, Vice Minister Ahn presented a letter of appointment to actress Kim So-yeon, who will serve as this year's lottery ambassador and volunteer group leader.
