Yangcheon-gu Hosts 2021 Non-Face-to-Face Job Fair
July 8th at 2 PM at Gomdallae Cultural Welfare Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) will hold the "2021 Non-face-to-face Job Fair for a Better Job" on July 8th at 2 PM at Gomdallae Culture and Welfare Center (50, Gangseo-ro 5-gil, Gangseo-gu).
This job fair, a communication platform connecting recruiting companies and job seekers, is jointly hosted with Gangseo-gu, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and Gangseo Women's Saeil Center to provide residents seeking jobs with more diverse company information and opportunities to choose from.
In preparation for the COVID-19 situation, the district will pre-recruit job seekers, guide them by dividing visiting times on the day of the fair, and conduct non-face-to-face video interviews with companies at their respective offices and job seekers at the company booths in the fair venue.
The recruitment consists of 11 companies in various occupations such as web developers, engineers, delivery workers, postpartum care workers, and drivers, providing broad opportunities for more than 80 job seekers.
The district plans to select job seekers by occupation and promote pre-matching with recruiting companies as a measure to increase employment rates.
Even after the job fair ends, the district will continue to provide additional job opportunities and employment information to unemployed individuals and thoroughly manage follow-up until they succeed in employment.
The non-face-to-face job fair will be jointly held once more in Yangcheon-gu this coming October. For more details, please refer to the district website notices or contact the Yangcheon-gu Job Plus Center.
