Incheon City Extends Current Social Distancing Measures by One Week... Ban on Gatherings of Five or More
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] The Incheon city government has decided to extend by one week the ban on private gatherings of five or more people, which was originally scheduled to be eased from midnight on July 1.
On the 30th, the city announced that, as the spread of new COVID-19 cases continues in the Seoul metropolitan area, local governments in the metropolitan area, including Seoul and Gyeonggi, have agreed to extend the current social distancing level by one week (July 1?7).
The city plans to monitor the situation for about a week and then reconsider the social distancing level.
However, the 'Social Distancing Reform Plan' being piloted since the 21st in Ganghwa-gun and Ongjin-gun will continue to be maintained. These two counties currently allow gatherings of up to six people.
