On the previous day, JT Savings Bank held a 'Sponsorship Goods Delivery Ceremony to Bridge the Learning Gap for Children in Seongnam' with the Sinheung Regional Children's Center at its headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. This ceremony was organized to address the learning gap issue among low-income children, which has worsened due to the impact of COVID-19.
The social contribution activity involves providing tablet PCs to children affiliated with the center to facilitate smooth non-face-to-face learning and offering paid educational content. It also includes subscriptions to mobile paid learning programs covering major subjects. As a result, on days when children cannot attend school, they can use the tablet PCs to access about 10,000 e-books.
