KB Kookmin Bank-Jeju Island, Business Agreement to Promote Pet Welfare and Culture Policies
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 30th that it will sign a business agreement with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province to promote pet welfare and cultural policies.
Through this business agreement, KB Kookmin Bank plans to strengthen its joint cooperation with Jeju Province in the field of pet welfare by simplifying the pet management process for visitors entering Jeju Island, leading pet-friendly policy programs, improving pet registration processes, and fostering Jeju pet startups.
The signing ceremony held the day before at the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Seoul Headquarters was attended by Won Hee-ryong, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Hur Yin, President of KB Kookmin Bank, and officials from both organizations. Governor Won Hee-ryong said, “We welcome the signing of the business agreement with KB Kookmin Bank to support Jeju’s pet welfare policies,” adding, “Through various collaborations in pet welfare, we will contribute to establishing an advanced animal welfare culture not only in the Jeju community but also nationwide.”
Hur Yin, President of KB Kookmin Bank, stated, “KB Kookmin Bank will build a cooperative system with Jeju Provincial Government to promote pet welfare and cultural policies and provide various services and systems together,” and added, “Furthermore, we will do our best to foster a socially mature pet culture.”
