The seven police substations under the jurisdiction of Mokpo Maritime Police actively conduct clean harbor and port campaigns regularly with local residents, NGOs, and others.
In particular, in March, the Heuksan Police Substation located on Heuksan Island, Sinan County, carried out a seaweed (Sargassum horneri) collection activity with residents, striving to protect aquaculture facilities and enhance the image of a clean and beautiful island, serving as a model for local residents.
