Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to Hold Public Design Planning Exhibition Starting from the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that, together with the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, it will hold an exhibition titled "Familiar Future: The Values Pursued by Public Design" at Culture Station Seoul 284 from June 30 to August 29.
This exhibition focuses on the everyday nature of public design, creating six familiar spaces (playgrounds, parks, streets, schools, alleys, and subways) to help visitors discover and recognize the value and meaning of public design that they might have overlooked. Additionally, there will be interactive activities where children can become public designers and directly transform our living spaces.
The exhibition can also be enjoyed online. From the opening day of the on-site exhibition, the "Familiar Future" online exhibition website will provide related information. Visitors can also explore public design projects conducted nationwide through an online map.
