Pocheon 'Yongjeong General Industrial Complex Fully Subscribed'... Full Loan Repayment
Over 110 Companies Scheduled to Fully Operate Within 2 to 3 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] The Yongjeong General Industrial Complex in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, has been fully leased. Additionally, the remaining balance of the PF loan related to the industrial complex development has been fully repaid, significantly reducing the financial burden on Pocheon-si due to payment guarantees.
According to Pocheon-si on the 29th, the Yongjeong General Industrial Complex spans 940,000㎡ and has attracted only industries with low environmental pollution such as knowledge industry centers, food products, machinery and equipment, furniture, and logistics, which is evaluated to protect citizens' environmental rights and improve the working environment of tenant companies.
Currently, 80 companies have already moved in, and about 30 more companies are expected to move in, with a total of approximately 110 companies planned to be fully operational within the next 2 to 3 years.
The Yongjeong General Industrial Complex, located near Pocheon IC with excellent transportation access, began construction in 2012, underwent four years of development, and was completed in September 2016, after which active efforts to attract companies have been underway.
