Gimhae City Invests 1.9 Billion KRW to Improve Parks and Hiking Trails in Jangyu Area
Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, has completed the environmental maintenance of Jangyu Sandollim Park.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it has completed maintenance work on 22 parks and 3 hiking trails in the Jangyu area with a project budget of 1.9 billion KRW.
Among the parks in the Jangyu area, a total of 470 million KRW was invested in Somdari Park, Danbi Park, Gwandong Ancient Tomb Park, and the school route (Old Gwandong and Sinri sections), which were aged and required priority maintenance, completing the installation of permeable blocks and pavilions, landscaping planting, and water feature maintenance.
In Sandollim Park and Neungdong Park, which are frequently used by residents, 280 million KRW from the resident participation budget was used to install pavilions, replace children's playground equipment, plant landscaping, and prune trees.
Additionally, 150 million KRW was invested in hiking trails such as Yongjibong and Banryongsan to complete the installation of timber stairs and walking mats, as well as drainage maintenance.
In particular, air dusters (air guns), which have long been requested by residents, were installed at two entrances of the Banryongsan hiking trail and one location in Yuha Park.
