[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Sempio announced on the 28th that it has introduced eco-friendly packaging for its cooking essence Yeondu to facilitate easy separation and recycling for a sustainable environment.
Yeondu features a special cap that is easily separable from the glass bottle. The separable cap of Yeondu was recognized as an innovative packaging technology and won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 15th Korea Packaging Exhibition held last May. The new eco-friendly Yeondu packaging will be gradually released, starting with Yeondu and Yeondu Soon.
