On the 24th, at Pocheon Hills Golf Club (par 72, 6,610 yards) in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, the first day of the KLPGA Tour BC Card·Hankyung Ladies Cup (total prize money 700 million won), she posted 3-under par to tie for 3rd place. After a birdie on the 3rd hole (par 5) and a bogey on the 5th hole (par 4), she added three more birdies on the 8th, 13th, and 18th holes. She is one stroke behind the co-leaders, laying the groundwork for her third career win one year after winning this tournament in June last year.
Rookie Son Joo-hee (25, Ilhwa Makgeolli) dominated the top of the leaderboard with four birdies and no bogeys. Newcomer Hong Jeong-min (19, CJ OnStyle) is also in this group. Hyun Se-rin (20, Daebang Construction), Kim Jae-hee (20, Woori Financial Group), and Kim Yu-bin (23, Hana Financial Group) joined the tie for 3rd place. ‘Lotte Rent-a-Car Champ’ Lee So-mi (22, SBI Savings Bank) and 2018 champ Choi Hye-jin (22, Lotte) started comfortably tied for 8th place (2-under par 70).

She has recently finished as runner-up in two consecutive tournaments. ‘Lotte Open Champ’ Jang Ha-na (29, BC Card) is struggling at the sponsor’s tournament, tied for 75th place (2-over par 74). ‘E1 Charity Champ’ Ji Han-sol (25, Dongbu Construction) is underperforming, tied for 83rd place (3-over par 75). ‘5-win Champ’ Park Min-ji (23, NH Investment & Securities) chose to rest.
