'Month of Patriots and Veterans' O Se-hoon, Meeting with Representatives of 11 Veterans Organizations
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon will hold a meeting on the 24th at the Seoul City Hall conference room, inviting representatives of veterans' organizations to mark June, the Month of National Defense and Veterans.
Representatives from 11 veterans' organizations in Seoul, including the Korean War Veterans Association, the Liberation Association, the Disabled Veterans Association, and the Vietnam War Veterans Association, will attend the meeting.
At the meeting, Mayor Oh plans to express his gratitude for the sacrifices and dedication of national veterans who served the country and listen to their opinions on field difficulties related to the city's veterans policies.

Earlier, on June 6, Mayor Oh posted on Facebook for Memorial Day, stating, "We must ensure that the sacrifices and spirit of those who protected the Republic of Korea in their youth are not in vain. Creating a country that cares for, serves, and respects them is what we living in this era must do." He also said, "I will meet them in person to offer comfort before June ends."
